Start College Early with Mt. San Jacinto College (MSJC)

If you’re a high school student in grades 9–12 and want to get a jump start on college, MSJC offers the chance to take college classes while still in high school. These classes can help you earn college credits early and explore your interests.

Important Deadlines:

Fall 2026

• No longer accepting course requests (deadline June 10, 2026)

• Sunday, November 15, 2026 – Last day to drop a full-term class with a "W" grade

• Friday, December 11, 2026 – Fall Term ends

• Friday, December 18, 2026 – Grades Due

• Friday, December 25, 2026 – Friday, January 1, 2027 – College Closed

Spring 2027

• Thursday, October 1, 2026 -Spring 2027 MSJC Application (ONLY) to be released 

• Sunday, October 11, 2026 – PDF MSJC Spring Schedule online

• Tuesday, October 13, 2026 – DualEnroll.com Class Request submissions began

• Friday, November 13, 2026 – DualEnroll.com Class Request Deadline

• Week of November 16, 2026 – Registration appointments begin to be emailed

• Monday, November 16, 2026 – Students can begin to Opt. Out of Fees: 

• Fee Breakdown: 

  • Student Health Center Fee – $28 (waived for Dual Enrollment students only)

  • RTA/Transportation Fee – $9 (required for all students)

  • Student Representation Fee – $2 (optional; students must opt out before registering)

  • Student Government Association (SGA) Fee – $7 (optional; students must opt out before registering)

• December 15 & 16, 2026 – High School Student Registration begins (tentative)

• Tuesday, January 19, 2027 – Spring 2027 term begins

Steps to Enroll

1. Start by getting an overview of the MSJC process to understand the steps required to enroll in MSJC classes as a high school student.

2. Meet with your high school counselor to discuss recommended courses.

3. Complete the TVUSD Online Course Approval form.

4. Complete your MSJC application.

5. Activate your MyMSJC student account.

6. Complete the online orientation.

7. Submit your class request at DualEnroll.com. (From the MSJC homepage, go to MyApps and login)

8. Check your registration date and time.

9. Register for your classes.

10. Pay any required fees.
